Attend a Local Government Meeting
Peaceful, consistent and purposeful attendance at out County Legislature meetings and local Common Council meetings.
We work together to discuss pending legislation, government actions and opportunities to manage the current and pending impact to local business and services from this Administrations DOGE takeovers and tariffs.
Ways to participate:
- Hold an issue-based sign in your lap. No waving signs or speaking. Please avoid insults and derogatory remarks about anyone in office.
- Make a public comment:
- Comments addressing a resolution on the agenda (below) are given at the beginning of the legislative session.
- Those addressing topics unrelated to the resolution are given after the meeting.

The County Legislature meeting dates can be found on the Oswego County Website HERE. Please monitor the dates, locations and times. At times, they may changed at the last minute
Oswego Common Council Meetings
Committees meet on the 1st and 3rd Monday of the month (at 6:30 pm) unless there is a holiday and then it is moved to Tuesday. The Common Council meets the 2nd and 4th Monday (at 7:15 pm) and the same situation exists if there is a holiday on Monday. The 5th Monday on any month is extra. Submittal of agenda material is due at noon on THURSDAY prior to a Committee meeting. A Special Meeting of the Council can be called at anytime by the Mayor.

Fulton Common Council Meetings
While there is no list of specific meeting dates, Common Council meetings are held on the first and third (optional) Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM in the Common Council Chambers (Municipal Building – 2nd floor). 141 S. first Street, Fulton, NY
